Ghost Control HOLO is a free browser-based interactive experience.

Camera and hand tracking

When you select Start Experience, your browser asks for camera permission. Camera frames and hand landmarks are processed in your browser to control the scene. The application does not record, save or upload camera footage or hand landmarks. You can stop the camera in the workspace or revoke permission in your browser settings.

Device storage

The application stores your object arrangement in browser localStorage so it can be restored. It does not store camera images there. This arrangement stays on your device until you use Reset Workspace or clear this site's storage in your browser; the operator does not receive it.

External services and hosting

Hand tracking uses MediaPipe in your browser. The hand model is served with the site; the MediaPipe runtime is downloaded from jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net). Fonts are requested from Google Fonts. When your browser contacts these providers, they receive standard request information such as your IP address and browser details. Their handling of that information is governed by their own privacy policies.

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes request and security information, such as IP addresses and traffic data, to deliver and protect the site. The site operator does not use Cloudflare Web Analytics or any other analytics service, and the application code does not set cookies. Cloudflare or other providers may still use cookies, logs or security mechanisms as part of their services. For how Cloudflare handles this information, including retention and transfers, see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Retention: hosting and third-party providers keep request and security information under their own retention policies, which the operator does not control. See the providers' privacy documentation for details.

International transfers: Cloudflare, Google Fonts and jsDelivr may process visitor information, such as your IP address, outside the EU/EEA. For information about the safeguards that apply, please refer to the privacy documentation of each provider.

In summary: camera frames and hand landmarks are processed locally in your browser and are not sent to the operator, whereas visitor information such as your IP address is processed by hosting and third-party providers when your browser requests the site and its resources.

Why information is processed

Delivering and securing the website requires your browser to contact the hosting and third-party providers described above, so this processing is necessary to operate and protect the site. The camera feature starts only when you select Start Experience and allow camera access in your browser. Your browser permission lets the page use your camera, and the camera data is processed locally on your device and not sent to the operator.

Your choices and contact

You may decline or revoke camera permission and clear local storage. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and complain to a data protection authority. Camera permission can be withdrawn at any time. You may complain to your national data protection authority; for Finland, see tietosuoja.fi/en/home.
